Commercial/Industrial Micro Super Slim Fluorescent Fixture

ALL FLUORESCENT'S T4 (3-wire) LINKABLE MICRO FLUORESCENT fixtures, perfect for your bookshelves overhead desk light, or even your anime collectible shelves, can be easily installed as a single unit or as multiple units connected in line with Direct Connectors and/or Flexible Connector Cables of 3", 6", 12", 24", 36", 48" or 72". 

The fixture comes in 9 different lengths ranging from 9-3/8" to 46-1/4", and 3/4" in width by 1-1/4" in height. With its built-in silent electronic ballast, no flicker, and silent operation, along with energy efficient and long lasting 16,000-hour bulb life, it has been widely used in commercial application.


Available in 9 Wattage: 6, 8, 12, 16, 20, 22, 24, 26 or 28 watts/fixture.

Convenient choice of 9 different lengths: 9-3/8", 13-1/2", 17-1/2", 19-1/2", 21", 29", 34-1/2", 40-3/8", 46-1/4". 

Instant on/off switch: All of the fixtures (except 6 watts) come with instant on/off switch. 

Ballast: Built-in electronic ballast for instant on/off, no flicker, silent operation. 

Protective lens: Ribbed acrylic light shield protects lamp and reduces heat. 

Compact: Light weight with low profile to fit under kitchen cabinets, inside showcases, wall units, even light coves, etc. 

Lamp: Uses T4 (1/2" diameter ) tri-phosphorous fluorescent lamp. Optional Color Temperatures: 3000K (soft white). 4100K (cool white), 6400K (daylight), Red, Blue, Green, and Black. 

Micro Fluorescent fixtures are shipped with lamps installed. For replacements, or for special colors, orders can be conveniently placed at our fluorescent lamps section.


Lamp Life: 16,000 hours (lamp may easily be replaced). 

Complete Unit: T4 Grounded Linkable Micro Fluorescent Fixture includes a T4 fluorescent lamp, acrylic cover, instant on/off switch on side of the fixture (except 6 watts), a 6-ft power cord, one direct connector and 2 metal mounting clips & screws.

Caution: Maximum wattage in one "ganged" line of T4 fixtures is 200 watts. However, if only the 22-watt, 24-watt, 26-watt fixtures or the 28-watt fixtures are connected in a single circuit, only 5 of these fixtures may be "ganged" together.

COLOR TEMPERATURE 
The color appearance of a lamp is "Color Temperature" 


Color temperature describes how the lamp itself appears when lit. Color temperature is measured by "Kelvins" ranging from a high of 9000K (which appears blue) down to 1500K (which appears orange-red). Light sources lie between the two, with those of higher color temperature - 4000K or more - being "cool," and those of lower color temperature - 3100K or less being "warm." Certain fluorescent lamps are" intermediate" types, lying somewhere between "cool" and "warm."

COLOR RENDITION
The color appearance of an object when lighted is "Color Rendition"

Color rendition describes the effect a light source has on the appearance of colored objects. The color rendering capability of a lamp is measured as the Color Rendering Index (CRI). In general, the higher the CRI, the less distortion of the object's color by the lamp's light output. The scale used ranges from 0 to 100. A CRI of 100 indicates that there is no color shift as com?pared to a reference source, and the lower the CRI, the more pronounced the shift may be. It is important to recognize that the reference source (and thus the CRI scale) is different at different color temperatures. As a result, CRI values should only be compared between lamps of similar color temperatures.
